Deleting your 6hands account

How to delete your account in the app

1. Open the Profile tab.
2. Scroll down and tap "Delete profile".
3. Read the list of what will disappear and enter your password to confirm.
4. Tap "Delete forever".

Deletion is immediate and irreversible — there is no grace period.

What exactly is deleted

Together with the account, a single operation removes:

• your profile: name, username, role, city, "About", interests, "Can help with", "Looking for";
• all contact channels and their visibility settings;
• all handshakes — you disappear from the contacts, trees and paths of everyone you were connected to;
• all conversations — on both sides of every chat;
• your geolocation;
• your invite link and unconfirmed connections;
• all sign-in sessions;
• your blocks and reports.

We keep no backup copy of a deleted account. Anonymised server log records that cannot identify you may persist for up to 30 days.

If you no longer have access to the app

Email support@6-hands.com and ask us to delete your account, stating your username. To prevent anyone from deleting someone else's account, support will agree a way to confirm that the account is yours. Requests are processed within 72 hours.
